Mini-Conference to K-12 Teachers
You are invited to participate in the 2010 Campus Community Partnerships for Sustainability (CCPS) Conference. In 2006, Berea College hosted the first CCPS Conference. The conference has now become an annual event. This year, Bluegrass Community and Technical College, the University of Kentucky, and Transylvania University, with support from LexTran, Lexington Fayette Urban County Government, and the UK Student Sustainability Council, are co-hosting the conference.
On April 16, afternoon/evening sessions for K-12 teachers are planned. CEU credit is available. The cost for the mini-conference is $15, and includes refreshments.
The program will be at Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s Leestown Campus. This convenient campus is near the intersection of New Circle Road and Leestown Road (on Opportunity Way). Parking is abundant and free.
